Hi! My Name is Micah Tajiri! I grew up in Hilo, Hawaii, and have always loved education. I dedicated much of my time in high school to supporting educational non-profit organizations in my community such as the Waiakea Technology Learning Center, Nextech Hawaii, and the Hawaii International Science Experience. In 2024, I graduated at the top of my class and now, I study mechanical engineering as a Regent’s Scholar at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
Tajiri Tutoring’s primary goal is to help students have more fulfilling and more fruitful academic journeys. Whether it be through test-prep tutoring, accelerated learning, or college admissions mentorship.

At this moment, I, Micah Tajiri, am the sole member of Tajiri Tutoring. I hope to grow this business to the point of positively impacting thousands of students & college-aged tutors in Hawaii, creating visible change in Hawaii’s education scene.
